Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
A passionate entrepreneur and industry thought leader, Vincent Delaroche
founded CAST in 1990 with the vision that software development could no
longer be viewed as an obscure art but rather a performance-driven profession.
Since inception, over $120M in R&D have been invested by CAST to deliver
what tech analysts are calling the most advanced software analysis platform
available in the market today, and Mr. Delaroche has promoted software analytics
and management visibility to form better decisions, drive fact-based discussions,
improve productivity, and prevent businesses from losing money, customers,
and reputation due to software failures. In CAST, he is building a long-term
venture, faithful to his team, clients, partners, and shareholders, to introduce what
he calls a “yardstick for measuring software.” A few years ago he
moved from Paris, France to the United States where he now runs the company.
Vincent holds degrees in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering.
Chief Financial Officer
Alexandre Rérolle is responsible for overseeing all of Finance &
Administration for CAST and its subsidiaries. Prior to CAST, Alexandre held
various roles in controlling and finance moving up to the CFO position in
one of the affiliates of the logistics division of Bolloré Group, with branches
across France, Japan, Korea, China, and the USA. A recent addition to the
team, Alexandre brings a high level of discipline and is very well aligned
to CAST core values of transparency and collegiality.
Alexandre’s background is in the sciences and he holds a Master’s in
Economics from Paris Dauphine University.
Executive Vice President, Worldwide Field Operations
Gregg is responsible for scaling and managing a world-class sales and
professional service organization, combining software, managed services
and consulting to maximize the value delivered to CAST customers. Most recently
Gregg was EVP at iRise, where he expanded the company's footprint in Europe
and Asia, and opened significant new customer accounts with large companies
along with helping to building a global reseller channel with SAP. Gregg
also built a go-to-market strategy targeting both business users and CIOs
to drive engagement and adoption of the iRise software platform. Prior to
that, Gregg was VP of global sales at Keane, a $1B+ global business and
IT services firm, where he managed a global force of more than 100 sales
professionals. Prior to Keane, Gregg was with Headstrong, Inc. (aka James
Martin & Co.), a global business consulting and IT solutions firm, where
he was VP of global sales and served as the executive leader for the strategic
account team, global account strategies and alliance and partner program.
Gregg earned a B.S. in Accounting/MIS from the University of Rhode Island.
Executive Vice President, Business Development
Marc Zablit is responsible for strategic alliances with key go-to-market
partners. His scope of responsibility encompasses a broad portfolio of IT
market players, including application development ISVs and global systems
integrators. Marc has been instrumental in building multiple strong partnerships,
and is responsible for expanding these relationships and establishing new
ones. He is well known for his expertise in the latest trends and techniques
among application services providers to deliver innovation to clients.
Prior to joining CAST, Marc was Vice President of EMEA Marketing for
Trilogy, an American ERP vendor. Prior to Trilogy, Marc was involved in
growing and selling a software start-up in San Francisco. Prior to that,
Marc was a software engineer, a project manager and then a business unit
manager at several major European systems integrators. Marc earned a degree
in Engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure de Paris, and an MBA
Executive Vice President, Strategy and Market Development
Lev Lesokhin is responsible for CAST's market development, strategy,
thought leadership and product marketing worldwide. He has a passion
for making customers successful, building the ecosystem, and advancing the
state of the art in business technology. Lev comes to CAST from SAP, where
he was Director, Global SME Marketing. Prior to SAP, Lev was at the
Corporate Executive Board as one of the leaders of the Applications Executive
Council, where he worked with the heads of applications organizations at
Fortune 1000 companies to identify best management practices.
Lev also served three years as a consultant at McKinsey & Company,
dealing with issues of business strategy, IT management, metrics and outsourcing.
He began his career at the MITRE Corporation before moving to the private
sector, where he spent several years as a developer and project manager,
and has managed large client relationships for a systems integrator. Lev
holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute,
and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Executive Vice President, Product Development
Olivier Bonsignour is responsible for Research & Development and
Product Management in a continual effort to build the world’s most advanced
software analysis and measurement technology. He is an expert in the precision
software parsing, and has a long term view of the product and the software
Prior to joining CAST, Olivier was the CIO for DGA, the advanced research
division of the French Ministry of Defense. Prior to that role, also at
DGA, he was in charge of application development and a project director
working on IT systems that support operations. A pioneer in the development
of distributed systems and object oriented development; Olivier joined CAST
after having been an early adopter of CAST technology in 1996. Most recently,
Olivier and Capers Jones co-wrote The Economics of Software Quality, a book
published by Addison-Wesley in 2011. Olivier holds a graduate degree in
engineering and computer science from the National Institute of Applied
Sciences (INSA), Lyon, and a Master’s in Management from the executive program
at IAE Aix-en-Provence.
Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist
Dr. Bill Curtis is an industry luminary who is responsible for influencing
CAST’s scientific and strategic direction, as well as helping CAST educate
the IT market to the importance of managing and measuring the quality of
its software. He is best known for leading development of the Capability
Maturity Model (CMM) which has become the global standard for evaluating
the capability of software development organizations. Bill has a passion
for software analysis and measurement because, after improving development
process, it is the next wave of software engineering improvement.
Prior to joining CAST, Bill was a Co-Founder of TeraQuest, the global
leader in CMM-based services, which was acquired by Borland. Prior to TeraQuest,
he directed the Software Process Program at the Software Engineering Institute
(SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to the SEI he directed research
on intelligent user interface technology and the software design process
at MCC, the fifth generation computer research consortium in Austin, Texas.
Before MCC he developed a software productivity and quality measurement
system for ITT, managed research on software practices and metrics at GE
Space Division, and taught statistics at the University of Washington. Bill
holds a Ph.D. from Texas Christian University, an M.A. from the University
of Texas, and a B.A. from Eckerd College. He was recently elected a Fellow
of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers for his contributions
to software process improvement and measurement.
Senior Vice President, CAST U.K.
Vishal is responsible for the CAST business in the UK & Ireland.
Based on his IT services and consulting expertise, Vishal brings diverse
and valuable software analytics experience to CAST customers. Vishal comes
to CAST from IGATE where he was responsible for sales, solution creation
and client management for the Communications, Media and Energy sectors across
Europe. During his tenure he grew this portfolio from $3m to $45m in a span
of seven years, pioneered the first full managed services deal, including
the first TUPE deal in the company's history, and won the largest ever new
business deal at IGATE. Before that Vishal worked at mBlox and Comverse
and also established a successful entrepreneurial venture. Vishal
holds a Bachelor’s of Engineering Degree in Electronics from Pune University,
India and an Executive MBA from London Business School. His extensive experience
in application services makes Vishal an ideal thought partner for executives
optimizing IT performance.
Senior Vice President, New Markets
Gérard Karsenti is one of CAST's founders and board members. He is responsible
for developing CAST business through channels in geographies where CAST
does not have direct operations. This includes Northern & Eastern Europe,
Middle East, Asia Pacific, and South America. Gérard is a thought leader
in the software analysis and measurement industry, especially as it applies
to implementing automated measurement within globally-distributed organizations.
In his previous positions at CAST, Gérard established CAST's subsidiaries
in the major European markets. He subsequently managed corporate marketing
and the development of CAST's offering for Enterprise Software. Prior to
CAST, Gérard held sales management positions at Sybase, after a career in
sales in technology companies including Computer Associates and Xerox. At
Sybase, he had been responsible for the largest deal ever signed by the
company at the time. Gérard earned an MBA from Pennsylvania State University.
An international executive, he has lived and worked in Europe and the United
Vice President, Western Europe
Remi Jacquet runs CAST operations in the principal West- and Central-European geographies. Remi started at CAST in 1995 where he made CAST in France the de facto standard among the major enterprises, while supporting CAST adoption among the major systems integrators. He then gradually extended his leadership across Europe. He currently manages Europe including France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and Italy. Prior to CAST Remi was a regional sales manager at Bull.
Remi holds an MBA from one of top 10 business school in Europe, and has become a sought-after advisor on software measurement issues for numerous IT executives. His long term tenure and success at CAST, together with his unique entrepreneurial spirit, make Rémi a pillar of the company.
Senior Vice President, India
Nilkanth Iyer is responsible for strategy, sales and business development for CAST India. As such, Nilkanth works with CAST’s strategic partners, including global system integrators and enterprise customers to help them better manage outsourcing operations and work with channel partners to improve software portfolio analysis and measurement.
Nilkanth is a proven business strategist with a distinguished track record in the IT products and services industry, specializing in application development, lifecycle management and DevOps leadership for more than 16 years. Nilkanth’s background includes leading the strategic build-out of the cloud ecosystem for IBM India-South Asia, where he spent more than 7 years. Prior to joining IBM, Nilkanth led the sales for Telelogic, a collaborative lifecycle management solutions provider which was acquired by IBM.
Nilkanth holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute and a Master’s in Communication Management from the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad.
Senior Vice President and Managing Director DACH
Daniel is responsible for the CAST business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH). Based on his extensive international experience, Daniel brings a broad range of business and technical understanding to CAST Customers (primarily CIOs) on how best to utilize and deploy key technologies and solutions within their organizations, in order to maximize ROI and bring strategic objectives to fruition. Daniel’s background includes working for prestigious organizations and companies such as the World Bank, USAID, and Microsoft over the past 15+ years. Most notably during his tenure with Microsoft, he grew his portfolio from $78m to $380m over 4.5 years by deploying customized vertical value propositions consisting of products, solutions and SaaS into targeted industries across 33 countries.
Daniel holds a Bachelor’s in International Affairs (International Economics and Politics) from the Elliot School of International Affairs at the George Washington University in Washington DC.
Director, CAST Consulting
Jean-Michel Breul oversees the Delivery organization, with consulting
resources in Europe, the US and India. Jean-Michel brings many years of
technology background and strong customer focus to CAST consulting and delivery
practices. Pursuing the highest levels of customer satisfaction, CAST Delivery
activities include the introduction of CAST technology into enterprises
and GSIs, training and coaching, building Centers of Excellence for software
quality measurement, and consumption of CAST analytics. The Delivery organization
also runs CAST Managed Services to operate our technology on behalf of customers.
Prior to CAST, Jean-Michel was CTO at ORSYP, software vendor in the IT
Operations space. He was responsible for key customer engagements in presales
and postsales activities, as well as long term strategy and product direction.
Integrating technology acquisitions into the product portfolio, developing
product capabilities through technology centers in Paris, Montreal and Bucharest,
Jean-Michel’s primary focus was the satisfaction of a base of 1400 customers.
During his career at ORSYP he managed R&D, Product Management, Support,
Postsales and Presales activities in IT enterprise software. Jean-Michel
Breul holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris.
