New York, NY—February 27, 2015 —CAST, the global leader in software analysis and measurement, today announced an outstanding performance for its last year of operation, with increased revenues and new partnerships building compelling momentum as it heads into 2015.
Over the course of Fiscal 2014, CAST experienced strong double-digit growth for a second year in a row, improving its cash position between Q2 and Q4 which will help it to self-finance projects and new partnerships with some of the most influential IT players globally. Highlights below:
CAST is now part of delivery or a service partner with nine out of the top 10 ADM services providers based in the US and India. Over the past year, CAST has completed projects enabling continued growth of the brand and its leadership in software analysis and measurement. Earlier this year, the Application Intelligence Platform (AIP) version 7.3 provided customers with the most up to date enterprise-grade deep software analytics. A ‘must-have’ capability for CIOs who require real time software risk and productivity data across the business technology portfolio and for outsourcers responsible for the largest IT projects globally.
“The ADM industry is undergoing significant change, with digital transformation of the enterprise driving the CIO to pay closer attention to software assets, and outcome-based sourcing driving service providers to industrialize their delivery models,” said Vincent Delaroche, CEO of CAST. “These factors, combined with additional board-level and regulatory scrutiny of software risk factors, are driving increasing need for standards-based, reliable software measurement in enterprise IT. It is increasingly difficult for IT leadership to leave structural quality and productivity to chance.”
Gartner has predicted that by 2016 half of ADM outsourcing contracts will use software quality analysis and measurement technology to measure outcomes. IDC predicts 15% annual growth of the SQAM market over the three year period. CAST can report that over 30 of its enterprise and public sector customers are using CAST measurements as part of their contractual relationships with ADM sourcing providers.
CAST is a pioneer and world leader in software analysis and measurement, with unique technology resulting from more than $120 million in R&D investment.
