NEW YORK, JULY 31, 2012 – CAST, a world leader in software analysis and measurement, today announced it has hired Keith Zielenski as Senior Director of Customer Engagement for North America. Zielenski brings with him nineteen years of consulting experience, twelve years of which have been focused on information and application security, as well as application development for organizations in the private and public sectors.
In his new role with CAST, Zielenski will be responsible for ensuring successful CAST customer deployments across all North America markets, enabling customers to derive consistent, measureable value from their use of CAST and thereby maximize customer satisfaction. He will provide senior level, hands-on project leadership for a number of strategic implementations and impart feedback to the product management team to ensure that the CAST solution evolves in line with market demand.
“With a heightened focus on data security in business today, Keith’s experience with application development and application security in particular, private and public sector expertise, and experience in building a customer service organization in this market make him uniquely qualified for his new role,” said CAST Vice President, North America, Fred Constantineau. “As the company continues to advance its position in addressing the growing need for application security, Keith will play a key role in focusing our North American business and enriching our relationships with our customers. I am glad that we have someone with his rich experience to lead our North American objectives.”
Prior to joining CAST, Zielenski served as a practice principal for HP Fortify where he was responsible for selling and managing professional services associated with HP Fortify’s technology suite and software security assurance program design/deployment. This included static code analysis for identifying security vulnerabilities as well as technology and process design and training. While at HP Fortify, he was responsible for its strategic accounts, which included customers in the financial services industry, pharmaceutical and life sciences, telecommunications, and insurance.
In previous roles with Deloitte & Touche, BearingPoint, Booz Allen Hamilton and SRA International, Zielenski served federal CIOs as a consultant and security analyst, focusing on information-security program design and implementation. During this time he led teams of consultants providing IT security audit support for a number of federal and local law enforcement agencies including the FBI, DEA, ATF, OSS, and other agencies under the United States Department of Justice.
Zielenski holds an M.S. in Engineering Management and a graduate certificate in Information Security Management from George Washington University and a B.A. in Geology from George Mason University.
