Market and Account Research Analyst/ Specialist - India / Bangalore

CAST is looking smart and inquisitive research analysts to support field sales and marketing teams with insights that accelerate effective and efficient sales outreach and Account Based marketing campaigns. The right individual, with thorough in-depth research skills and with the awareness of CAST business, will connect the dots and build insights to help us grow.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with regional sales teams spread across multiple geographies to understand their key research needs etc. and incorporate them in the research deliverables
  • Gather market and competitive intelligence through extensive web research & using internal and external research sources such as DiscoverOrg, company annual reports, websites, earnings calls, industry specific journals, news providers, news alerts etc
  • Prepare deliverables that may include company research reports, industry trend reports, executive dossiers:
    • Building relevant market related news digests
    • Account plans research – In depth deep dive research on accounts, their org charts & dynamics, their challenges, IT initiatives, annual reports etc.. for use in account based marketing programs
    • Exec dossiers in support of key meetings / deals
    • Events related research to enable effective preparation & participation
    • Specialized campaign support

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years of research experience OR MBA with 2 years of market research experience
  • Ability to interact, co-ordinate with geographically diverse teams
  • Experience in handling market research specifically for North American Region
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite (PPT and Excel is a must)

Desirable Skills

  • Understanding and exposure to IT Services/ Technology business terminology & System integrator ecosystem
  • Exposure to third party research subscription reports from Gartner, IDC, Ovum, Factiva and others
  • Experience working with database tools like Discover org
  • Ability to research using social media sites like LinkedIn, Facebook etc
