AIP 7.2 Gives CIOs Software Risk Assessment at a Glance

by

For many CIOs, reporting on software risk is a complex problem. The reports are usually compiled once a quarter, and can take days if not weeks to complete. But worse than that, they often fail to deliver actionable insight to answer simple business questions. Which of my critical systems are most vulnerable? Are my IT vendors delivering as promised? How can we improve customer satisfaction? Are my development teams under-performing? How can we improve time-to-market for new projects?

With the updated CAST Application Intelligence Platform 7.2 (AIP), CIOs will be able to answer those questions and more using a customizable Application Analytics Dashboard (AAD). You can read more about AIP 7.2 in a release we issued this morning.

The new dashboard give CIOs visibility into application performance, developer productivity, and outsourced code quality -- actionable metrics they can use for strategic business decisions. And with a new and improved Report Generator, CIOs will be able to automate fully customizable reports for both Word and PowerPoint. Most importantly, this new release give CIOs a customizable dashboard where they can see at a glance what’s going on behind the scenes of their application development, and drill into the nitty gritty when their dashboard alerts them of a problem.
