Director of Partner Marketing - New York, NY | Full-time

Job Summary

CAST is looking for a passionate B2B software professional, with strong business acumen, flare for marketing and ideally with experience in marketing to and with go-to-market partners of software vendors.

We have strategic partnerships with all major cloud vendors, several major GSIs and top advisories. And we are attracting regional and mid-tier SIs to sell through as well. The strategy is to scale the big partnerships, and programatize the next tier of partner recruitment, enablement, and joint GTM efforts.

The Director of Partner Marketing will be responsible for designing, implementing, and running a structured CAST Partner enablement and benefits program aimed at accelerating the joint GTM with existing partners and attracting new ones. She or he will also be responsible for raising awareness of our existing partnerships within our top strategic partners, and take full advantage of programmatic benefits available to CAST, eg from AWS, Azure, GCP. The successful candidate with provide content focus and tactical marketing air cover to Biz dev team in the field.

This is a hands-on position. The successful candidate will be reporting to the CMO of CAST. She or he will be executing themselves while teaming with the Partner organization, CAST product marketers, and digital marketers, while tailoring the core Marketing content for the Partner audience.

This position is based in our NYC office (44th/8th), with possibility for hybrid home/office schedule. Out of tri-state area candidates will be considered given flexibility to be in NYC office with reasonable regularity.

Responsibilities

Tailored content and tactical support:

  • Create pricing / positioning / enablement packages for the CAST partner uses cases / types
  • Enable CAST Biz Dev specialists in the field to be able to tailor and use them themselves
  • Assist tactically the central Partner team when closing new or renewing existing strategic partnerships
  • Work closely with the rest of Marketing to ensure proper messaging for SIs and Advisories in the centrally run CAST Awareness and Demand programs.

Scale top existing partnerships:

  • Help CAST partnership sponsors inside our top partners – CSPs, SIs, Advisories, to promote CAST inside their companies, e.g. via lunch & learn sessions, CAST Day type of (virtual) events, regular ‘newsletters’, spreading harvested success stories, outreach to partner principles not yet familiar with CAST, etc.
  • Leverage AWS, Azure, GCP program benefits to grow demand for use of CAST by their Professional Services, their SI partners, and their clients.
  • Help turn ‘seeds’ planted by CSPs and top SIs using CAST during modernization for Cloud efforts for their clients into opportunities for CAST to sell additional software intelligence to those clients.

Create, rollout, and operate a CAST partner program:

  • Design and implement over time a streamlined CAST business partner program, with benefits and content tailored to the different use cases of our partners leveraging CAST, with the goal of accelerating the enablement of existing partners and using it as an attraction for new regional partners.
  • Create and/or tailor promotional and enablement content for the CAST partner program
  • Ensure high quality of content and ease of use of any ‘portal’ underpinning such program.
  • Enable the field and our partners to be able to autonomously take advantage of the assets and benefits available through the program.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience with a B2B software vendor or SI / Advisory using such software
  • You have a background in product marketing or technical solutions / consulting or Biz Dev
  • You know something about partner marketing and channel enablement
  • You understand the world of application development
  • You can express clearly technical concepts to less technical audience
  • You don’t wait for things to come to you – you make things happen
  • You can follow multiple threads that sometimes stall, and push them all to completion
  • You can write, you can think, you can do, and you don’t mind occasionally doing menial work
  • You can synthesize and organize

Salary Range: $175,000-200,000 base plus substantial bonus
