About the Role

We are currently hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) for North America. This role will support both inbound and bound business development activities (email campaigns, phone calls, LinkedIn messaging, etc.) for CAST’s suite of products across a variety of verticals and segments. This is a front-end business development position for our technology products – CAST Highlight & CAST Imaging. The BDR role sits between marketing and sales – you will work with both teams to qualify leads, set meetings with senior IT executives, and maintain CAST’s sales funnel. Grit, resilience, and intellectual curiosity are necessary requisites for this role.

Day-to-day responsibilities would include

  • Researching and identifying prospective accounts that would benefit from CAST Software.
  • Collaborating with marketing team’s lead generation efforts (email campaigns, webinars, etc.) through follow up with contacts
  • Setting meetings with qualified prospects for CAST’s sales executives.
  • Using online networking tools such as LinkedIn to build targeted lists and identify new opportunities
  • Managing and maintaining CAST’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and the marketing emailing platform with detailed documentation, status, and activity updates
  • Own a number and exceed the number

Qualifications

  • Comfortable talking to and building relationships with potential clients, from executive assistants to C-level executives
  • A growth mindset: the belief that abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work
  • A tenacious individual who isn’t afraid of taking initiative and sometimes rejection
  • A phenomenal multi-tasker; strive in an independent work environment
  • Desire to learn and be successful; passionate about disruptive technologies
  • Experience in a B2B sales capacity, preferably selling technology products

Salary Range: $60,000-90,000 base plus bonus
