On Nov 9th, industry IT leaders from the Netherlands are invited to a roundtable and workshop to explore best practices within productivity measurement in the context of IT transformation, including the latest research, IT standards (CISQ) and commercial case studies. Geared towards those with a mission to lead enterprise governance and measurement programs and practitioners working in business critical software, this seminar will offer pragmatic approaches to automated software measurement.

This event is organized by CAST, a world leader in software analysis and measurement and METRI, a leader in IT sourcing advice, benchmarking and supplier performance measurement services.

Dr. Bill Curtis

Dr. Bill Curtis

Dr. Bill Curtis is Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist at CAST, where he directs CAST Research Labs and produces biennial reports on the global state of structural quality in IT software. He is also the Executive Director of the Consortium for IT Software Quality, a Special Interest Group of the Object Management Group chartered to develop international standards for measuring the size and structural quality of software. He is best known for leading development of the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) while in the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) for his contributions to software process improvement and measurement.


Paul Camille Bentz

Paul Camille Bentz

Paul has been running large international IT organizations for more than 30 years, essentially in multicultural environments and financial institutions. He worked 20 years in Paribas, the investment Bank, being Group CIO when it merged with BNP in 2000 to become BNP Paribas.
He then moved to Allianz, the Insurance giant, as Regional CIO to rationalize the merge of three companies and build a strategy in line with the Group guidelines. He was a member of the Group IT Committee.
Paul retired in 2007 at the age of 61 to run his own consulting company.
He recently moved to a new position of Director of Government and Industry Programs for the Consortium for IT Software Quality in Europe to promote the standards of CISQ with regulators and governing bodies in various industries, Finance and Healthcare in priority.
Paul graduated from the ENSAM and the ENSPM in France, is married with 3 children and six granddaughters.

Harold van Heeringen

Harold van Heeringen

Harold van Heeringen, Senior consultant Benchmarking at METRI, has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry. In this period, he has gained a lot of experience in performance measurement, benchmarking, parametric estimation of fixed price (and fixed date) application development projects and maintenance contracts. He is an expert in the area of software metrics and as a consultant he helped many organizations to implement ‘Estimating & Supplier Performance Measurement’ processes.
Harold is innovative in the software metrics community and regularly publishes white papers and blogs about topics related to software measurement and software metrics.
Harold is president of the International Software Benchmarking Standards Group (ISBSG) and board member of Nesma
