Management Team - CAST
CAST Management Team
Vincent Delaroche
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Vincent Delaroche founded CAST in 1990 with the vision that language analysis technology
would change the face of business software development. In CAST, he is developing
a long term venture that is helping business IT organizations mature their software
development from an obscure art into a performance-driven profession. Introducing
an agent of industrialization into business IT, and establishing the new market
around it, are the primary motivation for Mr. Delaroche, as well as building a company
whose culture, integrity and principles are always placed before business. In 2005,
Mr. Delaroche moved from Paris, France, to the United States where he now runs the
company from New York City.
Mr. Delaroche has published numerous papers in the realm of software engineering,
made major contributions to a book called Software Quality, published in French
in 1992, and speaks widely at business IT and engineering conferences. He founded
the first IT expertise publication in France, IT Expert, which is still one of the
leading French language IT publications. In 1999, he led the first software IPO
on the Euronext, and has since pioneered innovative financial instruments for publicly
traded software firms in France. Prior to CAST, Mr. Delaroche was a software engineer,
then pre-sales and then sales professional at Hewlett Packard and Fujitsu. He then
built a RDBMS center of excellence as an independent business unit at ARC Info,
one of the leading software vendors in supervision and control systems for industrial
processes in Europe.
Mr. Delaroche holds degrees in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. He enjoys
competing in classic regattas and collecting rare wines. Mr. Delaroche is a permanent
member of the Classic Yacht Club and owns one of the few remaining Fife sailboats,
built in 1937
